Steve Tuchschmidt - Dealer Principal

My name is Steve Tuchschmidt and I am forty-seven years old. I am married and have two wonderful children, Steven, who is my twenty three year-old son and my lovely daughter, Katie, is twenty.

I have a passion that runs deep for the sport of motorcycling. When I was a very young child, my father would give me rides on the back of his bike. Back in 1970, I got my first bike. It was a blue Honda SL70. I will never forget the day my father brought it home for me. My love for the sport of motorcycling has been going strong ever since. I have been riding throughout my entire life. Whether it has been in the dirt, on the track, or enjoying a ride on my Harley® bike with friends.

My father and I purchased this dealership in September of 2001, after a two-year pursuit. This is the first motorcycle dealership that either of us has been involved in. I can't tell you how excited we all are here at the dealership to be involved with Harley-Davidson Motor Company. When you are in Columbia, come on by and introduce yourself.
