Parts Associate


Knowledge of Harley-Davidson or other motorcycle mechanics.
Previous experience working in a customer-facing retail environment as would be acquired over a minimum of 2 years. 
General knowledge of computer operations and experience working with a retail point of sale (POS and inventory control system.) 
Familiarity with inventory management, replenishment and merchandising. 
Possess sales skills that will contribute to achieving The Shop sales goals. 
Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to understand and resolve customer questions or issues. 
Strong attention to detail with ability to handle cash accurately in a fast-paced environment. 
Ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously and work calmly in a dynamic environment. 
Must be willing to learn and perform all aspects of day-to-day operations job responsibilities/duties within The Shop environment. 
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, while also providing exemplary one-on-one assistance to customers. 
Flexibility in schedule is required including weekends, holidays and evenings as required by the business.

Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Sales Associate


Sales Department Operations

- Attain new and used sales quotas as agreed upon with the sales manager
- Use floor time effectively to meet customer needs and solicit sales of all products
- Present the features of all products to customers along with their benefits
- Show each customer advantages of products over competing brands
- Maintain up to date CRM using the Connect tool.
- Follow procedures to ensure timely and proper completion of all paperwork
- Introduce new customers to the service, parts, general merchandise and F&I departments

Customer Service

- Follow in house sales process
- Greet customers immediately in a courteous and friendly manner
- Handle telephone transactions quickly and courteously
- Ensure customers are properly qualified for needs and wants
- Practice features/benefits selling methodology 
- Use common and consistent word tracks for vehicle sales, trade-ins and purchases
- Conduct road test and pre-delivery inspection prior to delivering bike to customer
- Attend training sessions to keep current with sales techniques and sales department issues.
- Ensure the proper delivery to customer by utilizing the Customer Tour
- Contact customers using mailing lists, data files and personal follow-up 
- Handle customer complaints reasonably, showing empathy and a positive attitude
- Demonstrate our commitment to the community and customers
