More than an oil change
  • Lubricate hinges and latches on fuel door, Tour-Pak®, and saddlebags.
  • Check battery and clean connections (annually).
  • Inspect fuel lines and fittings for leaks, contact, or abrasions.
  • Check front brake fluid level.
  • Inspect and lubricate clutch and brake controls.
  • Check operation of electrical equipment and switches.
  • Lubricate steering head bearings.
  • Check front tire pressure and inspect tread. Check wheel spoke torque (if equipped)
  • Check air suspension pressure, operation and leakage.
  • Check rear brake fluid level.
  • Check clutch adjustment.
  • Replace primary chaincase lubricant.
  • Inspect exhaust system for leaks, cracks, and loose or missing fasteners or exhaust shields.
  • Inspect rear brake pads and disc for wear, and brake line for leaks contact or abrasions.
  • Check rear tire pressure and inspect tread. Check wheel spoke torque (if equipped).
  • Inspect and adjust drive belt. Inspect wheel sprocket.
  • Replace transmission lubricant.
  • Inspect oil lines for leaks contact or abrasion.
  • Inspect and lubricate jiffy stand.
  • Replace engine oil and filter.
  • Inspect front brake pads and discs for wear, and brake lines for leaks, contact or abrasions.

Check for open recalls, product campaigns, trouble codes, and engine management system updates.

Check tightness of all critical fasteners.

Road test - verify component and system functions.
